The New And Improved List Of API and Third Party Apps

Is it possible to insert links (In general and also to WK items) in reading and meaning notes? And then somehow click on them. It seems that if I simply click in a note it goes to edit mode.

There’s a script for enabling markdown in the notes, you may be able to make links with that

I didn’t even know there were Markdown standards back then…
…which makes me want to revisit that script.

But that’s so low on the priority list that I’m certain it will never happen!

Yet another feature that would be good for native support. I’m sure people would absolutely love being able to put pictures in their notes, for example.

And what’s the name of the script? Where can I find it? Working or not.

:two_hearts::+1::pray: A first simple test worked! You are simply great!

I feel like I’m being stupid here, but is there any way to have Wanikani auto-play the audio of a card when you put in the correct reading? I feel like that would be an obvious feature but I can’t find it in the regular settings and there also seems to not be a userscript for it either. But there is one for Kaniwani? Am I missing something obvious?

I can’t believe there was ever a time that you weren’t a coding god.

What is the definition of legacy code? Code written by anyone other than you or code written by you more than two weeks ago.

Yeah. I’ve long said that the true test of a software developer is the moment when they open a file, say “Who wrote this *&^%$” and then realize it’s themselves, 2 years ago.

Pretty sure that was already an inclusive or.

You’re right. My bad. Forgot I was talking to programmers. Conversations in my household (2 software engineers, 1 CS major in college, one HS student who’s planning on engineering in college) :

Person 1: Would you like to do A or B?
Person 2: Yes

Yeah, come on. I didn’t say xor.

Well a hardware person would say it with only NANDs.

So, you’re saying:
“[Code written by you AND [NOT (code written by you AND written more than 2wks ago)]] is NOT legacy code”
