Just a heads up, that last stage takes 4 months. If you’re going to wait to burn all those items before picking up more, this will be an extremely long process.
Just realised that, since I’m skipping the kana vocab with a script, I won’t be able to participate in the 0/0 challenge anymore. Ah, I will miss those times, but that’s ok. I hope that it won’t be a motivational killer tho bc there will always be lessons left to do with kana vocab 
Hopefully they will implement that opt-out button soon, but I guess pigs will fly sooner than that.
You could use a different script, Anki mode, or synonyms, to just get then out of the way?
Yeah, but I suppose more problems will arise from that, like a higer review count per day which perhaps doesn’t seem like much now but will surely add up over time, and messed up accuracy to name one more. I will just see how this goes and if it’s going to be a motivational killer, I may take up another script.
Not really, if you use the techniques I mention, you can just pass them, it doesn’t increase the review time that much, just a few clicks. Each word will pop up 4 or 5 times, I forgot, and then you never hear about it again.
I think I’ll just get frustrated seeing those kana in my reviews, so I will just try with the script I’m currently using (just came back from a couple month break, so I’m takling the lesson pile with the kana for the first time) and see how that goes. I may take your sugesstion if I feel like it isn’t really working for me
That does look quite enticing. Very tempting. But perhaps there is still a small hope of mine that WaniKani will get itself together sooner than later, however hopeless it is…

Update on myself, I don’t really aim for 0/0 anymore as it’s a bit hard at level 55. If you’re on your A game you can pretty much clear a level in 3 days (you get all the kanji needed off the bat rather than needing to wait for radicals). There was a big gap of me being stuck at level 51-52 for like 6 months (Jan to June) because I was focused on school and only did reviews. それでも、毎日頑張るはずです！
