At last, I’m doing fast levels as I wanted to do them that means fast
I kinda forgot to do kanji lessons on the second day, so this one will take around 6 days, but oh well, that’s much better than 20+ already!

6 levels later

The last level being fast + not wanting to do too many lessons per day* meant almost breaking my streak on this level. Ended up cutting it reallllly close. If I pass the right reviews, I’ll be leveling up in about 5 minutes!

*Level 43 is where I’ll have to decide just how important my current lesson (soft) “cap” of 25/day is to me. Fast levels may just be the death of me… >.<

no updates just means… that stuff happens… (work, life, weekends, and celebration events: natural enemies of reviews…)
here are missing report images, in a bunch.
and.. it happened twice.
all as
wills…
(yeah, knowing n5/n4 and j1/2 before starting Wanikani helped a lot to breeze through low levels)
and it looks like there is a nice rhythm, as clearing everything happens around 1.5 day after starting a level…
and yes, it does feel crazy, as it looks like “short term memory” is expanding with time and it keeps information for several weeks, and it needs a lot of efforts to burn it into deeper levels of memory. it is not possible to rely on default SRS intervals.
maybe the progressing speed should be reduced, or not yet…?

Fast level after clearing my lesson stack means I ran out of lessons early… but the onslaught is on its way. >.<

First level of “Hell”. I was additionally motivated by the notoriety of the difficulty mention in the level up e-mail so this one was pretty easy to do!

I sincerely don’t remember when was my last 0/0. This is truly death
(Don’t forget to burn your turtles)
Taking a slightly different strategy this level, I used a reorder script to do lessons for the radicals first after leveling up, and then after that did 5 lessons every hour I was awake/not busy until I emptied the lesson queue. There were more lessons than normal after leveling up this time, which I think might be due to level 14 front loading more kanji/vocab that the other levels (there’s only 6 radicals this time).

Feeling pretty good about my accuracy so far. Hopefully I’ll be able to maintain it going forward, since otherwise I have a feeling my pace will come back to bite me.
