I don’t and have never used userscripts on Edge so that can’t be the problem. I do have some installed on Firefox but I can’t recall observing the issue happening there.

It just happened again with reviews. The error message changed to " Sorry! You have no items to review right now." though.

I tried to do it and it said, ‘Sorry, you do not have any review items right now’?

I used to get this when trying to look for kanji from the WK example sentences that WK hadn’t (still hasn’t) implemented yet, directly in the URL
