Checking in, hope everyone is doing ok
Just started in on the L15 kanji. I can see that ‘16’ at the end of the tunnel
Hi!! I’ve stumbled upon this thread again after a little while and realized I put my name on the leaderboard back in March (the 24th to be exact) without introducing myself. Funnily enough (and fittingly for this thread), I’ve only leveled up once since I’ve put my name up there. But yeah, now that I’ve re-found this thread I plan to keep up with it . I am definitely a slowpoke but now that I have a little bit more time, I plan to take advantage of it and up my speed a little bit! Though, I’m the kind of person that stresses out even if I have a bit more than 100 reviews a day because I’m not the quickest at doing them (but I definitely used to be a lot, lot slower), so I’m limiting myself (and also I don’t want to make my pace too fast, or I’ll get kicked out of this thread!
). In conclusion, sorry for this little rant, and good luck to everyone participating! We’re all going to make it, one way or another, eventually…
Reached Level 14 after 19 days and six hours, that was a fast one
Level 8! 10 days, 5 hours - definitely a faster one this time around, but still consistently keeping apprentice items under 100 is working well
Welcome back @jacob100! Hey, any pace is a good one so long as it’s yours and you’re happy with it
@Tanne and @jmvm1231 Congrats on the level ups
Hi everyone, I’m back after a month long vacation.
The vacation was supposed to be just for 2 days which ended up being a month+2 days because I kept postponing due to the number of reviews waiting to be completed
Hope the vacation was restful and Happy 1 Year Waniversary
Wooty Spoot L16 tonight.
Bit longer than I expected (36 days) because I messed up some of the kanji. Oh well, nevermind, got there in the end.
Onwards and upwards!
My slowest as of yet: reached level 9 after 15days and 8 hours.
I had a LOT of lessons left (vocab), so I’m starting with a lot of new lessons too.
But that’s okay, I just wasn’t in the mental state to go quicker
Congratulations to both of you!
I just managed to get to level 24 in 21 days, my fastest level since level 18 I don’t really want to speed up any further though, good thing I have a lot of vocab lessons ahead of me now haha
Hi all! Joining you here as I decided not to do lessons until after I’m done with exams (June 10th). 30 days sans level up so far
I have been keeping up with reviews tho, and squashing leeches:)
11 days, 19 hours to Level 9! Woo!
hi
so! i’ve been pretty absent, both from the forums and from lessons and reviews. in fact, just checking now it has been 5 months since my last review session and i haven’t been on vacay mode so the reviews have just been piling up.
BUT
eventually! i do plan to get back on the wanikani grind at some point. not entirely sure when, but i do have plans to get to level 60…y’know…at some point.
anyway best of luck to the rest of y’all in your climb to the cake!
Level 23! 22 days, 11 hours. There was a lot of vocab between the lv21 kanji and the lv22 radicals. But that was probably because of the content additions.
Lots of Super Snails in the last week @Elfeera @NyappyTiramisu @jmvm1231 @BrunoCaesar - give yourselves all a hearty pat on the back shell
You are most welcome fellow snail. Exams are important! If WK is getting too much, pop the Vacation mode on too til you’re finished exams. Wishing you the best of luck!!
Happy to see you’ve popped in, go put that vacay mode on We’re all hoping to get to level 60 at some point, so when you feel it’s time to jump back in, do it!
Made it to level 15 after 18 days 17 hours
Also the Burns are really starting to pile up now. It’s a good feeling to know that they are out of the review queue
Nawwww, that’s so cute and thanks for thinking of me!!
I haven’t been here in a while ;A; unfortunately I’m becoming lazier about doing my (almost) daily WK reviews. I think it was a bad move for me to start studying Arabic this year (I actually took a class!), so all the hours I could’ve spent studying Japanese went to Arabic. ;A;
Anyway, I’m trying to play catch up with my review list! It’s interesting to realize even when I haven’t been on WK in weeks my brain still remembers.
Hi! Signing up for team snail here! I started WK back in December, taking advantage of the lifetime membership sale in part because I didn’t want to have to worry about how long I was taking. I had a rough idea to do it in 2 years. I was averaging 11 days per level for a while, but then my personal life got messy a couple months back and while I was keeping up with reviews, my pace on lessons slowed considerably, and I did 3 levels in the last 2 months. I’m not sure I’ll get back to 11 days, but I’m hoping to keep at about 2 weeks per level.
So, with that in mind, I’m off to do some lessons!
