I’m on level 5 and have Guru’d almost all the kanji. According to my main WaniKani screen, I’m at 39/41 which amounts to 95%. Shouldn’t I be at level 6?
It says you have to pass 41 (of what looks be 42 total). The 95% is just a general guide.

If you log out and then sign back in, it should show your new level.
I count 42 kanji in this screenshot. 41 is approximately 95% of that. You are only 39 gurued. You still miss two.

Oh! I was under the impression that the 41 in the pink bar was the total amount of kanji in the level but now that I’m counting them, it’s not. As pointed out in this thread, it’s the number of kanji needed to pass the level, which is lower than the total count.
Seems a bit confusing, but I get it now. Thanks!
