I put off WK until late in the night and then when I started, I didn’t feel like doing it and stopped early. I’m hoping to do a lot better starting tomorrow. I did manage one burn tonight anyway though.

I decided to finally get serious today and set a goal of doing 100 reviews a day, which took me half an hour this evening. To be fair, I was going slow to try to avoid making unnecessary mistakes, especially on burn reviews. It should naturally get a lot faster over time as more and more of the reviews are items that I already missed coming back up for review.
Anyway, WK says I have 40 “Recent mistakes”, implying a new high of 60% accuracy today, so I guess being extra careful paid off. I also burned 16 items today.

壮行 (sendoff) is a word I missed on Wanikani last week, so it was kind of cool to see it come up in the wild.

I was exhausted this evening, but forced myself to do the full 100 reviews anyway, missing 46.
One embarrassing bit: For months or even years, I’ve had trouble mixing up 免れる/逸れる. The mnemonic I came up with is that the “s” in “soreru” is for “scooter”.
However, that completely failed tonight when 逸れる came up for review, I stared right at it, and thought to myself “there’s no scooter, so it must be manugareru”.
