I forgot to post the nightly update yet again. I really need to find a way to stop forgetting so much. Anyway, better late than never.
I missed 46 yesterday for an accuracy of 54%. There were two items I burned with the help of lucky guesses (法曹 and 検閲), so I suppose that sort of makes up for unfairly missing two burn reviews that I did know before. Not that it matters much in the end.

I also had another unfair missed burn today. I guessed “vortex” for 渦巻き, but Wanikani expects “whirlpool” instead.

For the last week or two, nearly all the reviews have been previously failed items coming back up for review, but there’s still one or two burn reviews on occasion.
Today, I hit a BS failed burn review, where I put “dumb” for the meaning of the 痴 kanji, but WK only accepts “stupid”. That’s so dumb.

I added like 4 synonyms for that 
: Idiot, stupid, silly, retard, dumb… And also did the same with lots of other kanji (your objective is to get the “concept” for the symbol, right? 
).
At this time I feel a lot like you, but 3000+ burns away 
P.S. Just remembered the other day discussing another kanji, 泥沼: Mud, marsh, bog, swamp, quagmire, morass 
WK also works expanding the knowledge of english for some of us (not native speakers).

I’m at the point where I’ll have to do more than 100 reviews a day in order to finish on the 12th. I did 107 reviews today and will have to do even more the next two days.
Ordinarily, I’d have just kept doing 100 reviews a day and let it finish whenever it finishes, but the symbolism of finishing on the 12th, which is the fourth anniversary of when I started the original challenge, seemed like too good an opportunity to pass up.

I decided that it wasn’t worth the trouble of rushing to meet the arbitrary May 12th deadline, and decided to instead just keep doing 100 reviews a day and let it finish when it finishes. Incidentally, I’ll be busy on Wednesday and Thursday this week and probably won’t be able to do any reviews those days, so it might be next week before I finish this run for good.

@juniormint This isn’t something you even have to speculate about. The first epilogue run took less than two months, and this one is going to be even faster since I started with a lot fewer unburned items. And if you look at the stats each night, I’m already close to finishing.
