Review Burned Kanji/Lattice Woes

Hey all,

After committing pretty hard for a year, I ended up taking a break over the last two months. I know, for shame. This raises the question: what is the best way to review burned Kanji? Obviously I know the ideal is they are burned in my brain forever, but that’s def not the case with quite a few.

What are you suggestions? Also, I noted with the new design the lattice is still missing…any progress?

Thank you! Sorry if this stuff has been brought up over and over.

The lattices are still available, but you need to know the links, which are.

Regarding a way to review burned items, the most common way is to use the Self Study Quiz script, which can be found here:

If you feel a burned item has completely escaped from your mind, you can also un-burn them from the specific kanji / vocab page (there’s an option called “Resurrect” at the bottom). This will allow you to re-learn the item from the beginning.

They’re still working on that.
If you’re interested I made a script that puts the links back in the menus

To add to the “studying” approach that @2OC3aOdKgwSGlxfz suggested via Self Study, there’s the approach of actually reading native content (if you’re not already). You’ll probably remember what you learn better if you see it in context.
