Once again busy day, but more than happy with it.
ホリミヤ is the best, all my homies love ホリミヤ up in this house. I’m definitely going to reread it all at some point after I finish reading it. Before that though, it appears that I might need to spend my entire life savings on buying all the rest of the physical volumes. Very expensive to go through a volume every day or two.
君の名は is still amazing.
The section on the crater where they meet is just as captivating and amazing as it is in the film. The problem is after reading that now I’m too emotional to sleep and I’m gonna be ruined tomorrow. Worth it. Now am on less than 50 pages remaining, meaning I’ll probably finish it tomorrow. That makes me sad to think about

three chapters of 3月のライオン which features the most random no-context panel fun read tho, i laughed out loud at one point. psycho-pass continues, i’m almost done. one thing i think the tv show did better was remembering that yuki exists, the book very clumsily casts her off until she becomes important again.
I’m really enjoying 生き残った. The flip between the comedy of lift doors open, zombies look at humans, humans look at zombies, humans slam on the 閉 button to the horror of ah these zombies can hold items and walk up stairs! Vehicles?! Just .

I discovered today that Shadows House volume 19 came out and I’m a week behind the offshoot club so I’m going to need to squeeze in some extra reading to catch up. So I read 2 chapters today instead of my usual 1 - one chapter of 約束のネバーランド and one of 葬送のフリーレン.
January 27th!
Two chapters again today - a chapter of とんがり帽子のアトリエ followed by the first chapter of シャドーハウス volume 19
I finished another volume of the LN, yay! And Loulan isn’t dead! This feels highly unlikely, but I’m happy for her! Maomao/Jinshi interaction is… something else.
Now, to volume 5!
Steady progress on Elf-san. Looking at the percentage completion today I was struck by the fact it looks like I’m nearly finished… a little a day goes a long way eventually… a fact I know but I still sometimes don’t believe until I see the data. This section is also flowing pretty easily which I appreciate.
Started やがって君になる１ finally. A bit more melodramatic than I prefer generally but it is one of the more popular yuri works and surprisingly popular on Natively as well, probably because it does feel pretty easy. Tbh I think it’s even easier than the current Natively rating… at least I’m blasting through it incredibly fast, will probably be done today tbh.
More Yakumo, think I’m approaching the end of the first mystery because they’re finally investigating the haunted 廃屋。Just read one page of zenitendou to get a vibe for the next story, but I got a bunch of freebie pages from the chapter break.
I did finally make it back to 名探偵コナン Volume 19, reading 1 chapter each day yesterday and today. I also read the second half of chapter 7 in カードキャプターさくら Volume 2, for the offshoot bookclub yesterday.
I loved this idea you shared so much that I ran out yesterday to buy yarn so I can crochet one too! I’ve done temperature-based projects the last two years (a blanket in 2023 and a pillowcase in 2024), but I hadn’t decided yet what I wanted to do for a project this year. Thanks so much for sharing!
Yesterday was rough. Today has also been rough. I would appreciate solid reassurance that things are worked out in my life. But I don’t control that unfortunately.
