I read one N4 article on Watanoc about moving to a new apartment. It was pretty boring.

・60 pages of 旅の道づれは名もなき竜, reading through ch 3 and leaving off on pg 66
All the other books in the little publisher booklet that came with 名もなき竜 are BL, which made me realize I had bought this without reading a preview. Again. Oh well, that doesn’t always mean anything when it comes to regretting a book. I just was expecting this to solely be fantasy. I wonder what the ratio of fantasy to romance will be, since おっさんだけど聖女です was a BL that just happened to take place in a fantasy world, even though from the 設定 you’d think it’d be more 50/50… (And 先輩、恋していいですか was also far more BL than sports. Both were still good, though, even if not what I was looking for.)
(And the dragon does, in fact, have a human form 
)
I probably woulda read more, except I was working on NWN2: Mysteries of Westgate fic. I have one that’s probably done and two more that should be close. But this book thankfully seems easy enough that I can read it at work no problem.
some vocab of note
敵討ち (かたきうち) [n., する v. (自)] revenge; vengeance; retaliation. I only knew 仇 as having that reading, but it turns out 仇討ち is more often read あだうち. There were times where 敵 was used where simply “enemy” didn’t make sense and I figured he was talking specifically about revenge, but I didn’t realize it had any readings other than てき.
敵う (かなう) [ワ五] to rival; to equal; to match. This is the same word as 叶う and 適う, just a different sense.

this chunk of masquerade hotel was a bit easier, i think naomi’s bits might be in general. finished vol 1 of the rakugo manga and will definitely be reading the next one! i’ve got three in total. no isekai.

Finished chapter 1 plus a bit extra of 六人の嘘つきな大学生. This book is very good. I feel like I say that about every book. I just really like books, what can I say. I’ll get through week 2’s reading soon hopefully.
A little bit of ひぐらし in the morning. I can see where it’s going to turn. I both am really liking the slice of life stuff, because I’m just a sucker for it in general, but am also looking forward to the darker change of pace, which I’ve heard hits quite hard. No more for the next week though! Anticipation builds…
Also started 君の膵臓をたべたい. Another thing I’ve heard a lot about but haven’t interacted with any of the media for yet. Good so far. Not as good as other stuff recently, though. I wasn’t the worlds biggest fan overall of 同じ夢 so not hugely surprising though
Getting into another sludge part of 世界から猫 which I need to drag myself through so I can get this book finished in the next few days. Otherwise I’ll have too many books going on

Might try to convince myself to read more later, but this is as much as I’m tracking here today.
Finished Chapter 55, Chapter 56, Chapter 57 and Chapter 58 of デスノート today 
This was a loooot of reading today for my skill level, but I skipped a day yesterday so I had to catch up 
Spoiler: L is dead. So far, everything about the manga has been just like the anime, I didn’t notice any differences. However, from what I know, this is where some things are going to be different. A lot of people criticize the second part of the Death Note anime for being rushed, but apparently manga does it better. I will find this out for myself soon 
I know the ending is completely different, but unfortunately I spoiled that for myself a long time ago. I don’t know what to expect from now on though.
