Book reading today too - 人狼サバイバル 1 on Kindle. Just a couple of pages. A little is better than nothing!
デスノート - Chapter 3
Again, reading it took like 2,5 hours. There was one page which I managed to read completely on my own without look-ups which made me very happy 
Too bad it doesn’t happen too often though 
But I’ll get there one day (hopefully).
Also, despite the fact that I’m only three chapters in, I feel like i’ll never forget the word 心臓麻痺 for the rest of my life lol

人狼サバイバル 1 on Kindle today too. I only understand 60-70% of what I’m reading, but the more I read the easier it gets. It will be fun to re-read this in a year and see if I understand more then!

JoJo Part 7 vol 7 (ch32) p71-89
This chapter is refreshing as far as your average shonen goes. Our protagonist is giving a good reality check as opposed to blind faith that everything will work out. It was turning into a lecture though so I decided sleep would be more emotionally gratifying lol

Was following Nijisanji EX Gamers 24h relay stream on youtube before I fell asleep and forgot to post. First time I saw the word ようつべ = YouTube. Saw it on twitter, I was so confused at first. Usually it is ユーチューブ, right. Haha
Back on topic, this book is mysterious 
In a good way. The chapters are short. Usually I’m not good at following a story when it jumps between different viewpoints or timelines, but I feel like I’ve become better at pushing through / going on. In addition, each chapter being short makes it easier to “just one more chapter”.
I wonder if this book perhaps is a bit hard for the IBC? Just a feeling I had. After a certain threshold it becomes hard for me to judge what content is easy or difficult when you know most of the grammar and looking up vocab is second nature at this point. For example, reading Bocchi the Rock is no problem for me, it’s simply a matter of sitting down to get the reading done. I haven’t read many 4koma manga, but I was surprised by how little resistance it was to my reading experience despite all the talk about them being tougher to read because of the denseness. In that regard, Detective Conan is way worse. More like a novel with some extra images, haha.
(For reference, I’ve read the 4koma Urara Meirochou vol. 1 and that was hard because of no furigana and tons of unusual vocab. Then it becomes a pain to do lookups.)
Such a difference to what my update post looks like when I’m not halfasleep いいね

Today was busy, so just a small read. Traveling back tomorrow 
Did the 読み物 1 from Quartet 1, Chapter 3 about climbing Mount Fuji + the exercises
Also managed to read three pages of デスノート. Even though it was only a few pages for some reason it felt really hard today.
