Day 21: 2 pages of 夜警~ still unable to decide how I feel about it. I know I should technically read two more pages today 
… but I also need to do a bunch of other things still.
Started reading 星降る王国のニナ again, though, and interestingly enough, it’s a bit challenging for me to read. I think it’s the fantasy setting and the fancier speech, but I know that if I push through the initial difficult bit, I will learn a lot and it’ll make future works of similar nature more accessible.

Reading for fun today! First 3000 characters of Kirakira Monstars - love the music and the characters!
Then I started The Expression Amrilato, a VN about language barriers and overcoming them. The main character suddenly finds herself in a strange place where everyone speaks a language she doesn’t understand. It turns out to be Juliamo, aka Esperanto. I havent’ gotten that far yet, only 5000 or so characters, but it’s fun to see a language barrier between Japanese and Esperanto. Looking forward to reading more of that VN!

This section of the story made me tear up as Akiko describes exactly the kind of relationship I had with my grandmother - she was always my ally no matter what!

- Another 3% on 元かれの猫. I’ve come to the conclusion both the 関西弁 and the ビジネスマナー are hard af lol. I find myself in an odd place with this novel where I think it’s quite difficult the first time through, but I think on a reread and knowing where it will go it will probably be easier… fingers crossed… also again I forgot that a character was named something weird and spent a while thinking their name was a weird reference to something completely out of pocket I forgot the cat is named ヨミチ and kept being mystified by sudden references to a dark alley
- Accidentally(?) finished こういうがいい２, kind of the same boat? It is just so slangy and slang is really difficult to identify and look up sometimes. But it’s oddly compellingly readable. I think I need a break again though.

Hey, everyone! I did not expect to get so busy, but I became a project lead for my software team (in college), so I’ve been reading small enough bits to keep along with this challenge, but not enough to post about until now.

Since I’ve been so busy I picked up a much easier book for now which is 「ホリミヤ」!
Not sure how many of you have read it, but it’s pretty cute though pretty simple lol. It’s been nice to read something on the easier side this past week whereas I usually like to go more in-depth with my reading and analyze structure a bit. -
I plan to finish up ホリミヤ 1巻 this week, but only time will tell… （*゜ー゜*）

two more chapters of 3月のライオン and finished vol 4! there were two shogi columns in that section so i was a bit fried once i finished 
hotel dusk continues, some mysteries answered and new ones cropping up. if anything bad happens to louis i’m gonna be very upset

Today I wanted to read VNs and couldn’t decide which one, so I read a little of Everlasting Flowers, a little of Kirakira Monstars and a little of The Expression Amrilato. It’s hard to pick a favorite among the three, so I’m glad that I can read all of them at once!

Tiiiiny read. Instead I was watching a stream and the streamer mentioned a cultural tidbit (Moroha’s song: Kakumei) that got me distracted and at the end of the rabbit hole I ended up rewatching this like 5 times in a row because the subs is a work of art.
