October 13th - Home Post
Here is my end of week update.

I have finished Four Seasons: Spring and it was a blast. Alot to take in, there are so many little things that an simple lookup won’t solve. Story was fun, many new words too.
Currently reading:
Four Seasons: Summer, there seem to be less annotations than before but some parts are not that difficult so that explains it. But what I do find odd is the spacing from the series it’s one wall of text and not neatly spaced like Spring. Makes reading feel a bit off. Hmm yes I was not dreaming, just checked.
Besides that I had easy italki lesson while reading so that was great, will write more about that in my study log later today.

Finished ビブリア古書堂の事件手帖２(96% → 100%) !! It was nice, definitely planning to read the 3rd one eventually.
I’m still 4 books away from my goal of reading 10 books this year so it’s going to be quite the challenge. For now I’ll try to choose some relatively short books that are hopefully engaging so I can read varied and fast.

Wuiii, finished my second book of this autumn challenge. Slow paced book * 400 page long book = it took time. I get the feeling there’s more action in the next one.

I started the next book. I need to read 5 more Honzuki books to reach my page goal of the year and 3 more books after that to reach my book goal. So I’m looking for books on the shorter side. Maybe I’ll pick up 聖女の魔力は万能です 5 again (I dropped it last year), just 226 pages.

I second this!
The Human Japanese apps are fantastic, they give great explanations, lots of example sentences and every Japanese sentence and word has accompanying audio and the sentences have grammar breakdowns.
They are 100% worth the money.

Day 20: Finished 1 chapter of Shadows House 
the chapter was a little imperfect in parts, it seemed like the mangaka might’ve not had enough time to draw it? I always feel this way when the drawing quality drops a bit and the text becomes longer 
. I’m also not super fond of the current arc because I can’t help but dislike a specific character… I hope she grows on me… because it seems that, at least for now, she’s important.
But nevertheless, it was good to read and continue the streak~

I have reached chapter 5 of ハイキュー！！.
Kind of regretting only buying the first 2 volumes now 
Going into this challenge at the beginning I was definitely finding reading was difficult and I had to push myself to do it. At this point though its definitely feeling much easier to just pick up the book and read which is pretty exciting.
I was worried I wouldn’t be able to enjoy it much but I am definitely understanding enough to enjoy the story

two more chapters of 3月のライオン (i keep forgetting people’s names…), plus another hour or so of hotel dusk. broke out the guide cos i couldn’t work out where i’d gone wrong, turns out getting a game over (yes, again) wiped everything i’d done in the room so i had to do it all again. oops.

Decided to start チュベローズでまってる AGE22 since it’s kinda short and it seemed to be all the rage in the forum at some point so hopefully it will catch my interest too. I started late so I only got to 3%.
Also played like 30 min of 逆転裁判 before that (I’m still on case 3) and read a couple of chapters of ハイキュー!! Vol.18
