I am a little surprised that I can’t find a dictionary that allows me to take notes inside it (e.g. which form did I found, from where, and Kana only?; what about aberrations?)

Interesting words
  • あどけない = child-like
  • 誉(ほ)める = to praise. Alternate Kanji.
  • 呆(ぼ)ける = to be befuddled. Can’t guessed the reading due to 呆(あき)れる.
  • 拗(す)ねる = to pout
  • ガキンチョ = brat. From 餓鬼(がき).
  • 商(あきな)い = trade
  • 仲(なか)むつまじい = intimate. Also 仲睦まじい.
  • 玉(たま)に瑕(きず) = small flow in otherwise perfect object; fly in the ointment
  • 薄幸(はっこう) = unfortunate
  • 徳利(とっくり) = sake bottle
  • 伝播(でんぱ) = propagation
  • 溜息(ためいき)を吐(つ)く = to sigh. I just can’t guess the first Kanji.
  • 胸(むね)を反(そ)らす = to be puffed with pride
  • 輪(わ)になる = to gather in a circle
  • どんちゃん騒(さわ)ぎ = drunken merrymaking
  • 心(こころ)が躍(おど)る = to be excited
  • ピンからキリまで(.) = from the best to the worst. I see it as ピッタリ to ギリギリ.
  • びくともしない(.) = unperturbed. Not ビクッと.
  • 駄々(だだ)をこねる = to throw a tantrum. を is dropped in context.
  • 融通(ゆうずう)が利(き)く = to be accommodating. In context as 融通がきかない.

SFX

  • じたばた = making a fuss
  • しおしお = dejected
  • ボソリ = whispering
