What do you mean I just stole @Naphthalene design? You have no proof

It’s okay, I stole @MissMisc and @seanblue’s designs myself. I feel it’s more like a shared template at this point.

On another note, it turns out I’m already done with this week’s reading :stuck_out_tongue:

This seems to be the first “real” isekai book I read. I was talking about it with a friend who told me that all the stuff the MC is thinking about are basically tropes of the genre. It’s kinda interesting that my first book is a deconstruction of the genre :stuck_out_tongue:

Would you like me to create a voice chat room for this book?

@MissMisc :high_touch:

I think that’s how I was with the magical girl genre since the first one I watched was Madoka Magica.

Can you just change the kino channel to Re zero channel? There is no need to have 2000000 different channel. I don’t think anyone if reading any Kino anyway.

For voice chat sure, but I’m not sure if people would want to go back to look at old chat history.

Where’s the “I’m not reading this book but reserve the right to lurk in your thread and randomly like your posts” option? :stuck_out_tongue:

I hardly think anyone will want to scroll back in it for anything but ok. I mean for now it’s good because there is only a few chat but if the numbers go bigger and bigger then you will need to delete some.

Edit: Oh! btw thx for your help

In your heart

Old clubs could also be sorted under a separate ‘folder’ thing, so people who aren’t interested in them could just keep them collapsed, but they’d still be there if anyone does want to look into them.

Is there folder in Discord???

There is! :scream:

*Sees Week 1 thread*

I-I’m not ready for this…

Just a reminder that this parse of the Amazon (with definitions lookups) sample exists. It happens to end right at the end of part four, if anyone needs it.
I sure do lmao

Is that end of week four, too, then? Was very helpful for pre-reading before, so I’ll be making use of it.

(If I happen to have an audio book, would I be able to just input that? Sounds a bit too simple almost…)

Yes it does at first, it’s what you expect from an isekai, even the protagonist is aware of the genre and expects its tropes which is what makes this a nice breath of fresh air (and what sets up the whole story as it progresses)

Ok I’ve read some pages, and I can say for sure that this is much much (removed one much in the unlikely chance that I’ve progressed a lot since I’ve read parts of vol 13) easier than what I read from volumes 9-13, almost doesn’t feel like ReZero XD

But it’ll be nice seeing how the writing progresses. I sincerely hope that one day the club will reach the later volumes. The series keeps getting exponentially better with every arc :relieved:

Welp, guess it’s already time for this… xD

Ok, that makes more sense. Since I had already read the first 20 pages or so, I thought y’all were alarmists, but it’s just that it gets better then
The good thing is that we will ease into it

Sorry part 4 not week 4 D:
We get to part four by the end of this week.

Part 4 of the book then, that’s too bad. :man_shrugging: I ended up buying the physical book, so I’ll just treat this week as an easy entry with .io.

Can anyone tell me around what WaniKani level could I start reading (and understanding) this novel?
