Got it! Whatā€˜s your leveling speed?

Ah I added myself into the Group already (like at the end of the group in my post)
wanikani statistics says it’s around 10d 21h at the moment. I started a little faster but I hope that I’ll not slow down any more than that!

P.S.: How do I become a member with editing rights to the wiki ?

:see_no_evil: nevermind, didnā€˜t see that :upside_down_face:
I added you. To become member, basically you have to participate a bit in the forum, visit every other day, read some stuff, post some stuff. The native discourse requirements have been posted somewhere above in this thread (and are googleable), but the WK team might have changed some of it. Nobody really knows. But in general itā€˜s not that difficult to become a member.

just arrived to level 16, catchin’ up with the Komrade Komris.

my overall speed has been reduced again… but it’s a long way to go to nullify the effect of making the mistake to sign up and never use the site 4 years ago. (back in the day i was scared of using card accounts… ok, i’m still terrified but i’m a grown man now yells at razorblade)

in other thoughts, why is it called race to paradise? does it mean that it’s over once you get to paradise i.e. level 41? i mean i kinda like it better, its like more doable, i have had a peek at the 40’s and 50’s levels and the kanji there tried to bite me

You can click on that long level and it gets ignored in the calculation of your average level speed.
Why ā€˜Race to Paradise’? Donā€˜t know, I liked the name. ā€˜Race to Reality’ or ā€˜Race to 60’ didnā€˜t sound that fancy. I like to imagine that level 60 grants me access to Paradise again…

I’m at level 15.

Thought you should know. In case you wanted to throw me a party or anything. Maybe a quinceaƱera.

Not that I expect it.

Why not Race to El Dorado, or the Race to Shangri-la. El Dorado is the city of gold and riches, an illusion to the gold mark on level 60s. Shangri-la is essentially a paradise like oasis after a long journey. Either one could fit.

I like the El Dorado idea! Maybe we should make a call for ideas and vote on it. That way it wouldnā€˜t be only my decision…

Race to the end of the Earth WK!
(I know that titles cannot use formatting, but anyway…)

  • Race to Shangri-la
  • Race to the end of the Earth

I added something to the racing post, maybe some more people will submit ideas or vote.

Which post are you talking about?
I cannot find anything…

Second post, the one editable by everyone. Figured more people might read that one as compared to the top post…

Ah! okay.
I only looked at the first post (the uneditable one) and the other race thread…
If I had scrolled juuuuuust a bit more, I would have seen it :man_shrugging: Oh well.

Sure, just put a poll on the first post. More people can see it that way. I’ll go ahead and delete the above post so not to cause confusion.

Edit: uhhhhh, is it possible to delete a post with a poll.

Not after the first 5 min, I think.
You can close the poll though (which you have done already)

As i said before i have no problem whatsoever with the current name nor was it my intention that my question would make this agitation to happen, but since it’s done. There is a post from some senpai, i guess it’s from polv-sama that made some custom levels to teach kanji past the level 60, and so they were called the Infinity levels.

Maybe a good name would also be Race to Infinity, idk
