Question about Anki 10K deck by WK level?

I use Jtest4you by JLPT level instead.

For the words, I always look up monolingual dictionaries anyway.

It’s not like I don’t read the example sentences.

Anyway, I’ll consider doing the sentence cards too.

I feel kinda bad for just leaving the link and then going to bed leaving you and polv to clean up the mess… sorry! I think I also failed to realize just how much work it would actually be to do anything helpful with it if you’re not super used to computers or especially anki!

Here, I’ve made simple deck for them and imported them, sorting by WK level. This time I exported from the mobile version of Anki, hoping there’ll be less of an encoding issue: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B21tSkYnAArkc2Q2dTkxR21OVzg

EDIT: If something doesn’t work let me know! Also, if the importing works, but the deck doesn’t work the way you want, let me know and I’ll see if I can’t update it!

I’ve given up on Anki altogether and I’m just going to go through the N5 (and then N4/3/2/1) decks on Memrise, removing anything covered by WK already. Thanks though, but really its just less frustrating for me if I can just get to studying without having tech problems, since this happens pretty much whenever I try to do something computer related.

That’s the big drawback with anki I giess, since it can be a bit more DIY:y to get stuff done.

Good luck with memrise!

I have been doing the Core 10k deck (not sorted by WK level) and although occasionally kanji that I don’t know from WK pops up, I tough it out. The deck in general has proven to be an invaluable supplement to my studies and if it is too much for you now, I’d recommend maybe giving it a second chance somewhere down the road. The example sentences really are the best part though.

Thanks for the info. I’ve decided to just work through the N5/N4/N3/N2/N1 vocab decks on memrise in order (ignoring cards for words I know already from WK) and I think that will give me a similar experience without the agony of getting anki to work properly.
