Popups & prompts

The text box “WaniKani is looking for the on’yomi reading” really needs to not pop up over the eye button. It keeps blocking it leaving only a small strip to click on to pop it up, especially because many of these popups get stuck on the screen until the next question pops up.

Would be very nice to have the promptings for meaning and reading to show up on different lines. It’s annoying to type it in quickly only to get it wrong because I input the inverse.

Would also be nice to have “answer was correct” and “answer was incorrect” buttons for typos and bad guesses where you want to force a repeat later on the particular question.

There exists a user-script for that. The 'ignore' button can be found here /t/Wanikani-Override-Userscript-112-Ignore-Answer-Button-No-longer-supported/2846/1

@OP you don’t need to click on the eye to open the info panel; pressing the “f” key on your keyboard opens it as well…

Only install if you can control yourself and know when something was a mistake and when it was not (like entering the wrong reading for vocab)!

Some things should be simply implemented, without the need for a userscript. Thankfully the community is great and usually makes a userscript for most things.
