Outdated Technology: Keyboard

Philosophical thoughts:

as I type with one hand while eat with the other, I find it troublesome and time consuming having to input my answers through the limited technology of the keyboard. sips tea of wisdom

you may enjoy the anki mode extension

hey that’s really cool, I might actually use this because I start to find my hands cramp and hurt after a lot of typing. Have you had any experience with it?

yeah, i switched to anki mode because its the most efficient way for me to get thru hundreds of reviews

it works essentially like anki as the name suggests. when you turn it on, answer the review in your head (or out loud if you prefer), hit the spacebar to reveal the answer, and if it is correct, hit 1, if it is wrong, hit 2

very simple

very cool, will definitely check this out. nice suggestion !

thank you for referencing this new technology. I will try it out. it works even for readings?

yep! both meanings and readings

The keyboard has long shown its limitations and I have advanced far beyond it. Along with the β€œscreen” - a technology so obsolete to me I laugh to think I ever once relied upon it. I no longer use either. Instead, I upload thoughts directly to the Crabigator and advance towards 60 by commingling our minds until we are one.

the one true and purest way to do reviews.

I still like physical keyboards more than touchscreen keyboard, kana flick, or anything else. The only upside is that it gets dirty easily, and hard to clean.

More like I am adapted to it.

Oh riccyjay-ε…ˆη”Ÿ. Teach us humble servants the way of the true believer.

Ran out of likes, had to make an actual post instead.

Actually, one-hand manipulators are also outdated.
As you eat with one hand and hold the Tea Of Wisdom cup with the other, you should use this device to do your reviews!

wowzow! this script is a real quicker jacker!
it is as if my thoughts are transmitted to the screen with just two or three buttons.

Teach us how you connect with Crabigator with your thoughts. Do you happen to use @trunklayer 's recommended device?
I truly visualize this:

The most efficient way to get through hundreds of reviews (if it still works) would be my nuke command :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I think Wanikani should in true Japanese way accept answers via Fax only. Handwritten on a paper that you can buy only from Tofugu webshop, that you then have to fax to WK and wait 2-3 business days for the answer to be checked.

Fax only. Takes ten years to finish. Perfect.
I actually write down the kanjis and vocab that I get wrong, in order to push myself into learning them.
