NHK News Easy - turn off furigana for kanji I know from Wanikani?

#1

I remember once hearing of something people are using that links NHK News Easy to Wanikani so that NHK doesn’t show the furigana for kanji we are already supposed to know from Wanikani - but I can’t seem to find it. Can anyone help?

I found it for you here: /t/NHK-Easy-Furigana-Toggle/7198/1

It’s in the BIG LIST pinned to the top, about 1/3 of the way down (after the first bold words).

Thanks but this one seems to turn off all the furigana from Wanikani rather than just the ones I know - or am I understanding it wrong?

Uh, I’m not sure, I haven’t tried it myself. Sorry.

This sounds like a solution for you - It hides ALL furigana, but you can reveal them by hovering.

A post further down explains how to use the script as a bookmark if you don’t have Stylish. I use it this way and found it to work pretty well.
