Negative reviews?

not really a problem cuz it’s never happened before and it doesn’t really affect the app, but I thought it was kinda funny

No idea why it happened though, I started my reviews after opening a new instance of the website and when I finished all the reviews I had some new ones from when the hour had passed during my last session, and they were all different from the reviews i did previously.

Good students don’t let their reviews pile up and keep them at zero.
But exceptionally good students don’t stop at that – instead, they make sure their number of reviews is negative! You two should be purroud of yourselves! trunky_rolling

0/0 is no longer good enough. We now have to achieve negative reviews every level.

I also just had this happen to me. Had almost 130 reviews and after 100 reviews it went into negative numbers.

I have noticed that at the end of review session, it quickly jumps to negative and than the page reloads to dashboard. Maybe if the connection fails right at that point, you get stuck on negative numbers?

I had the same experience.
I also had to refresh in and out of wanikani because it was taking too much time to load.
1 of my userscripts are not working.
I don’t know what’s going on.
Maybe a fix is coming.

Thanks for reporting this, I’ll inform our engineers. Could you let us know what browser and operating system you are using (with specific versions) and are you using any scripts?

Firefox 129.0 on Android with userscripts (double-check, hide context sentence, forecast details, heatmap, levels overview plus, open framework, level duration 2)

Firefox 128 no user skripts. Additional Info. When doing a review with more than 100 items at the start the remaining item counter displays 100 instead of 150 for example but the progress bar seems to work with the correct amount its just the number displayed on the right.

At what time are you all doing your reviews? I vaguely remember this happening when you’d start your reviews before a new hour started and when new reviews became available during your review session. The counter would only be loaded once when you started the review session, but the new items would still be loaded, resulting in negative numbers once you were past the initial number of reviewable items

This here could, of course, be a separate issue, I don’t know

After I start review session it shows me that I have 100 more reviews, even if I have more than 200+ on dashboard page, and then after I finish 100 items it goes to negative numbers.

I’m using chrome with windows 11 and no scripts.

Hi all! We pushed a fix for this bug, so your review count number should be displaying correctly again. Please let us know if you see this issue persist!

As far as I know, reviews that become available while you do your current batch will not automatically be added.

Hello all, I’m just curious…

I was expecting a couple kanji reviews this morning around 10am based on the “time until next review” at the bottom of the page of each one.

They weren’t included in my stack of reviews and when I go to check the timing, it now says -1 hour.

I don’t know if that makes sense, I’ve just never seen it before. Maybe I’ll try a different browser.

Thank you for everything! I love Wani Kani!
