Agreed with your comments! It also seems like Takumi had forgotten about Hachi, and I liked Nobuo’s and Shin’s reactions but it seems to me that that’s what triggered Takumi going back to Hachi, just to spite them
Also even though it was a shock for Nana, I’m glad she knows now, wasn’t feeling good that there was a secret between them (though Hachi doesn’t know that Nana knows so that might not go so well if Nana doesn’t bring it up and Hachi still doesn’t say anything)
I really like the way this arc is handled, I take don’t see the twist and turns coming but it all makes sense. I enjoy the complex Tranes X Blast relations. I can’t wait for Reira to meet with the Nanas.
The fact that Hachi made all that food thinking that Trapnest would come over after their show… Girl, I thought things with Takumi were just a one-time thing!!!
Nobu’s expressions during the whole after-concert scene with Reira/Shin made me laugh so hard. He’s trying to keep everything under control and dying inside ahaha.
Takumi DEFINITELY knows what he’s doing when he says “that’s not what she said the other day” crap. I love how Ren immediately jumps in and is like “you better not screw this up.” It took me some help to understand Takumi’s line “シッポ振って喜んでたよ” on p. 40 but once I did I threw up in my mouth a little.
Ahh and of course Nana finds out about Hachi and Takumi… She seems more heartbroken and confused than angry.
I realized for the first time that covers of the tankobon are seemingly in chronological order showing a cute little day with Nana and Hachi…!
(If you have an Android) I’ve found Google lens to do a good job of finding the particular page I’m on as an English sub. As long as it’s not like a proverb or other heavy cultural thing, the translation is usually good for figuring it out (and pretty fast to look up).
Although come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve needed to do that in a few volumes..
