It’s in the handwritten text so easy to miss, but when she’s speculating about ナナs job at the SMクラブ she asks if she’s a 女王様 (which I’m assuming is slang for a dom or the like). Then a few pages later she says that she can’t be a 女王様, which is what I’m guessing she’s saying there (and also 淳子s reaction is exactly right ).
In other news, only one more chapter until I’m caught back up!
Interesting, didn’t think of it that way. I think I remember from the French version that in Hachi’s fantasy, there is the big demon king, it’s no one in particular, just a God doing things like creating Sachiko to seduce Shouji, but that she calls sometimes Nana the demon queen, because from her point of view she is also a Goddess (at least that’s how I understood it)
Ok but then what does she say a few pages later when she says “she’s not a queen” or something like that while talking to 淳子 a little while later? Does she repeat “dominatrix” there too?
Actually just searching for images of 女王様 would have made it very clear that it is in fact a very specific term that has little to do with the royalty.
I decided to check because I think it’s important to learn accurate vocabulary and I take my Japanese studies very seriously.
Don’t forget to add it to your image book @Akashelia
