I like that 奈々 seems to sincerely wants for ナナ to succeed and become famous in a completely disinterested way. She doesn’t hope to ride get coattails or anything.
奈々 is overly meddlesome but her sincerity always ends up winning me over.

I like 障子 leaning into the joke when he fatefully meets the real 幸子.
Also the interview of the 美少年 is filled with fun interactions, I especially enjoyed the 山田さん（年齢不詳） version of the running gag. Amusing that he feels like gatekeeping 奈々 for being a member of the fanclub without knowing that he also plays the bass. Ok poseur.
I wonder when 奈々 will discover the truth about the relationship between 蓮 and ナナ. Looking forward to that. Also more Yuri bait. I approve.
Hehe loving reading your impressions! Yes a lot of things to look forward to! I am really happy to be linking this manga so much with a re-read. As you point out, it’s all the little interactions that are so much fun. Doesn’t hurt that I enjoy the main plot line, but it’s just a very fun read and I love all the characters! (though no one as close to 奈々, you can see how easily she pulls everyone into her universe of madness with 幸子 and the big demon king, who even had to manifest a real 幸子)
Yeah I struggled a bit with the first volume, the Japanese was difficult for me and I didn’t really understand where this was going, but it’s really coming into its own now. It’s like a good sitcom.
Nice! I feel like we are still a bit in the introduction phase (settling in, getting a job, recruiting new band members and the like, which goes conveniently really fast)), but at the same time the show has already started!
Can’t wait to enter the 奈々 becomes a tambourine international superstar arc.

Lots of fun moments in this chapter! Like how Hachi has just spent all her money already, or how she thinks that Nana’s job is probably at an ＳＭクラブ or the like, how she thought her boss wanted to confess to her when really he wanted to fire her, and Shouji’s brand new 2001 PC.
Not sure what Hachi means p.55?
Funny how when Hachi thinks about what counts as cheating, we immediately jump to seeing Shouji and Sachiko together x)
Story wise, lots of things too! Shin is apparently a baby, Yasu is back, Nana’s money problem seems to be solved but she is now unemployed, and Shouji and Sachiko seem to have become dangerously close

Didn’t follow the logic either. I think maybe she’s just implying that there’s nothing she can do about her situation because “it’s not like she’s a queen” or something.
It already came up on a previous chapter but I enjoy 野垂れ死に.
I also struggled to understand the very last page with the 嫁 thing because I wasn’t familiar with the これと言う idiom.

I didn’t post the new thread because I think we’re the only two still reading along, I thought maybe the others could use a break to catch up.
But also I was curious to see what would happen so I already read ahead…
Yes that was my thinking too, and I knew you knew so didn’t bother with the heads up 
I guess technically you have read on time, it’s just my post that’s late 
I debated that and we still have 80+ chapters to go (not really liking to write it that way because it sounds like it’s a chore and I really don’t think it is!). I’m just thinking that I don’t think I want to take more than 2 years to read the series, if we take break frequently I fear that this might happen. And also I am a bit reluctant to slow down because I love reading this manga and already wish that we could be reading more of it, so I guess a very selfish stand. On the other hand, I agree that it is a pity that we have lost so many readers. Hmm, what to do…
Ok I finished. Dense chapter. I hope it means that the 障子 arc is nearing its end, I prefer ナナＸ奈々 shenanigans.
淳子 is still great though, I hope she’ll remain a side character.
Haha yes. Also I like that they have all 奈 names. 奈津美、奈々、奈美, and the last one is probably a 奈 too.
Felt hard for me too! I understood the gist (障子 strangled 幸子 to death so she couldn’t resist him anymore) but will have to reread with look ups to understand what they are actually saying.
出戻り娘 - daughter who moves back to her parents after divorcing (they use 出戻る in the chapter but I found this definition on Jisho and think it’s also a good fit x) )
