What about the pace and the schedule? There are actually chapters from volume 2 on, and there are 4 chapters for each volume (5 for volume 11, 3 for volume 21, the only two exceptions).
I wonder if it’s fine for everyone to go one chapter / week.
I don’t really want to break the chapters or to go 2 chapters a week.
Another option could be to have an open thread every month, and no schedule, everyone read at their own pace. What do you think? (you can select several options)
- One chapter a week, never take a break
- One chapter a week and a week break between each volume
- One chapter a week and sometimes take a break, we’ll see
- One thread per volume every month, no schedule
- Something else (comment pls)

I know I haven’t been super active on the threads the last two weeks (life getting in the way of talking about manga…lame!) but I definitely want to keep going. We’ve just scratched the surface of the story and there is so much more I’m excited to read and talk about with everyone!
As for how to pace the next volume, I voted for chapter/week with occasional breaks, but I am really open to anything! I know the managing all of the threads over a like 20+ volume series will get super tedious, so I think the monthly open thread could be a cool idea, too! It may just make it more difficult to figure out where people are in the volume (though the story does get more linear from here on), but I am really at the will of the group and just so happy to keep reading! Thank you so much, @Akashelia !

So, looking at the polls results, I think it makes most sense to take one week break and then do one chapter per week. We can assess again at the end of Volume 2 if we want a break before Volume 3. The idea is to keep as many readers as possible with us

Today is a holiday in Denmark, I feel like it’s Saturday and I want to read my book club assignments! but it’s not
