N2 kanji book

Hi everyone!

Im about to start studying for n2 level and was wondering which book to use for kanji.
I would like to use a book that gives stroke orders along with a few sample words because i primarily learnt Kanji by writing them everyday.
Any recommendation?
Thank you

Interesting to ask this on a wk forum. Most of us use wk to study kanji.

Stroke order is not important unless you have to actually write the characters. And tbh in most cases you can guess the stroke order based on the common patterns. There was an article about stroke order on tofugu

This forum is friendlier than reddit,so i came here :stuck_out_tongue:
I just got used to learning kanji a certain way hence i would like to refer to a book that lists out n2 kanji, their readings, stroke order and a few example words.

Not a book but might be useful.

It’s free and you can choose what you want to learn.
It gives the stroke order and example words. :+1:
But bookwise I don’t have a specific one for jlpt but

Maybe the later volumes have harder kanji.
But Now that I think about it i highly doubt it.

https://kanji.sh/write/jlpt
nearly matches what you’re looking for.
(Example words are lacking.)

This one looks nice, seriously.

Normally I would look up vocabularies for the Kanji in Goo or Kanjipedia, then write with SRS in AnkiDroid.

I’m not sure how fixed you are on a book, but as an app Chase Colburn’s Kanji Study does what you want brilliantly. You can sort by JLPT, but also many other lists, books, etc or make your own custom lists.
