Very weird one. Learned from a book about survivors of an unspecified apocalypse.

A million points for anyone who can guess it without looking it up.

Feelings of guilt

I ended up researching it whilst trying to work out how to say “My hospital is on fire” (I have no recollection of why I was trying to say that, but I can assure you I don’t own a hospital and it is not on fire).

Curious how it’s used. Like would you see in the TV listings for Game of Thrones: “Viewer discretion may be required. This episode contains violence, offensive language and フルチん。”?

I translated a song last weekend (Monophobia by Moi Dix Mois) and here are the new words I’ve picked up from it:
光彩 (Kousai, meaning “Brilliance” or “Splendour”)
(Butai, meaning “Stage” or “Theatre”)
(Shinikirou, means “Mirage”)

Oh, and 歓喜 (Kanki, joy/delight). I feel like I should’ve known that one already

I’ve been reading a book called There’s no way to forget a word when it comes up ten thousand times in one book.
Also learned 臆病 (おくびょう)which means timid or a chicken, by my friend’s explanation. That comes up a lot in the book too.

waking up; awakening; arousal; revival

I know I’ve looked this word up before but I always forgot the reading. Got it in WK just now though and I think I’ve finally memorized it. I live in 三重(みえ) so every time I saw this word I’d do a double take and be like, “What, only two lines? にえ?”

Is it fulton? As in the fulton device, that balloon special forces use so helicopters can hook onto it and extract them without landing.

edit: lol I was way off.

And another new word today!

Thanks  you made me actually look up FFke’s word.

I was listening to a song and trying to read the lyrics in the CD booklet but the print is so small so it was hard work. But I managed to make out…
