Are there any games (platform, adventure, RPG etc.) that you play on your smartphone (especially iPhone/iPad) but perhaps on PC/Mac, that helps you with practicing and improving 日本語?
Any ideas would be welcome,

Konosuba Fantastic Days and Granblue Fantasy.

I think Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact are both good if you set the audio language to Japanese. There are English subtitles for almost everything (though the translations sometimes aren’t meant to be literal), and the game company hires Japanese voice actors for the Japanese voiceovers. They’ve also produced a few anime mini-series you can watch on YouTube.
Only thing you might want to take note of is that the company behind them (mihoyo) is a Chinese company, so there’s also content (and voiceovers) in Chinese. You’ll have to make sure you check the language first. However, as far as I can tell, the Japanese is perfectly good, so I guess it’s more a question of… whether or not you’re a purist, I guess? Along with whether or not you’re going to dig through company websites/other content from the same company. For example, mihoyo’s mini-animes usually come out in Chinese first, then they get dubbed in Japanese.

When I used to play Genshin, I had it set to Japanese for some time, however, you really need a strong foundation for that game, otherwise you’ll be confused (as was I).

Thanks (for all other answers as well). Provided I’m at the level 06 (at this moment) my vocabulary is rather humble… That’s why I am searching for such games, that would enable also beginners / early intermediate to enjoy such games, but to be honest I am struggling to find such.
There was a recent thread about Switch games and the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters were highly recommended. I picked up FFV on Android and it has Japanese text options, but I haven’t started it yet. If you’re familiar with any of those already, it might be a good place to start.
