Maximum word/character count for forum posts?

I’m drafting my level 60 post right now, and it’s looking to be, uh, long, so it made me wonder if there was a maximum character/word count for forum posts so that I can prepare for that …

I tried searching the forum for this information, but couldn’t find it anywhere, and I wasn’t sure if WK kept the Discourse default or not.

Does anyone know what the maximum is?

I saw this one, but no idea of the character count.

I just tried it and this seems to be it:

Edit: This might be around 20000 words, so plenty I think.

Thank you! I’m glad they’re pretty generous, haha

How did you manage to enter almost half a million characters and still not get a complete sentence? :stuck_out_tongue:

My hopes of writing a novel in Campfire are ruined.

Before opening the thread the answer I had in mind was “pretty darn high if @fallynleaf or I are any indication.” I should have known…

Thankfully, you can fit an entire novel into just three posts, it looks like. Which means it doesn’t even have to be your thread that you share it in!
