Almost all of this is from today, yesterday I only watched like 3 minutes of Haikyu.
Today was meant to be me getting back more into reading but apparently my body decided to mould into one with the sofa and watch stuff instead. Maybe tomorrow I’ll read more. I can’t quite work out whether I’m feeling a bit burnt out, or if life is just being life. Should probably try to figure that out.
Whyyyy does Spotify keep removing my “not finished” filter. It never used to do that until a few months ago, and it’s super obnoxious. At least they haven’t started resetting finished episodes to “unplayed.”

I only crocheted one square in that time. My previous pace would have been two. It’s too hot to be crocheting, though.

Kind of sad to think that “girl power” apparently refers to one’s ability to be feminine at all costs (the importance of wearing makeup, nail care & the ability to whip up a pasta in 15 minutes out of random fridge items) whereas it’s important for men to responsible and reliable…..
I think the effects of last week are rubbing off on me with watching stuff feeling easier. Also rubbing off with pushing me away from reading still.
Lots of live action stuff watched. 1 episode left of キャスター. These last 2 episodes… oh my god. I’ve said before I have an incredibly high tolerance for nonsense occurring, but this is too much. Ridiculous. Most of it had me unable to suspend disbelief.

Really? You have the sympathetic main characters being relatively neutral on importing children into the country from developing countries to use them as organ donors? And still somehow try to frame it as some kind of “difficult moral dilemma” for whether people should receive these organs or not, rather than just being obviously evil?
In lighter watching, nobody in Terrace House is having a good time romantically at the moment. I think soon some people are going to end up together though.
Apparently multiple people complained about the opening segment being too long, and boring because he always talks about the same sorts of things. Because apparently people don’t listen to his podcast to hear him ramble about his interests??? What are you even listening for, then. Sure, he’s got a few other segments he kinda cycles through, like 痛みの思春期 (思春期の痛み? Shoot, I forget. Them both ending with い isn’t helping. But it’s probably the second, isn’t it), and he’ll always read a couple 便り from fans, but the majority is him talking about his interests. 特に映画. And movies were one of the things specifically mentioned.
I didn’t learn about 高知 unfortunately but did get some new fish names from the market area.
Someone else 卒業した’d from terrace house. The last time someone did it was quite funny, quite obviously nobody liked them that much and nobody was sad. This one was the teary-est thing you’ve ever seen. I hope the newcomer is good.
Almost finished with 陸王 - one episode left. It’s been a long one. The last few episodes are getting better though. I guess after 100 crying sessions it’s nice to have it all actually be for something.
