So due to absences, my regular anime group needed a new anime to start. So of course I took the chance to cover up the subs on my end and get some Japanese practice in. Hence the new show appearing on my list, and 4 episodes in one go.
It actually went ok. Though I noticed how many of the hell puns were apparently not in the original audio.

- There has been an improvement from last week. I managed to find anime melon for my listening (aside from the Jpn covers of Eng songs, and N5 listening practice), but some anime there are incomplete (or probably in the process of getting JPN subtitles).

Three episodes of Girls Und Panzer today as we get the Pravda match and the intermission before the finale with Kuromorimine. Also comes with the introduction of a couple of new teams, like the hall monitors, the motor club and of course, team “definitely not world of tanks”.
Team not-WOT didn’t even make it past the teaser for the Kuromorimine episode, lol. I thought they were better than that, but I guess I’m conflating them with their performance in der Film and with team history otakus
Also was paying attention to Nonna’s speech. Like most of the teams in GuP are basically cosplayers, the american team aren’t actually american, same for the british team, etc. Nonna however is supposed to be actually Russian (or half-Russian, I can’t remember), so I was curious if her voice actor did anything to make her Japanese sound awkward. If I remember from the extended universe stuff, part of the reason she’s so loyal to Katyusha was that Katuyasha helped her out when she moved to Pravda when her Japanese was bad
The answer seems to be no. Or maybe my deliberately-bad-Japanese sense needs calibrating.
