Link vocabulary synonyms and reading context (ne ~ related items)

I just got https://www.wanikani.com/vocabulary/付近 vocabulary (“Neighborhood”) and was all like: “wait a minute, I thought I already learned that and it looked different!” and wo and behold:

2. 近隣 (きんりん) - Neighborhood
3. 付近 (ふきん) - Neighborhood
4. 近所 (きんじょ) - Neighborhood

Could WK add “Similar vocabulary” (or even synonyms) section to items like that (akin to " Visually Similar Kanji")? It would really help to avoid loosing one sanity and being confused

Link between related words : on vocabulary item pages, it would be neat to have a “Related vocabulary” section for vocabulary words and a list of other words on Wanikani that are similar (with a link to navigate to them if needed), together with a short one-sentence explanation of their difference in usage or meaning. There could also be 1 example sentence per word to illustrate the nuances. It could also be used simply to group words in a related lexical field (example : when on the page of a personal pronoun, show all other personal pronouns that are taught; on the page of “car”, show other ways of saying it or other means of transportation; etc.)

WaniKani, a kanji learning application by Tofugu

Since this word consists of a kanji with hiragana attached, you can bet that it will use the kun’yomi reading. You learned this reading already so you should be able to read it!

riight… but where? Obviously not in the kanji item (https://www.wanikani.com/kanji/欠) where you teach On’yomi: けつ.

Please, add inter-item linking that points to the related item with the explanation without “you know it” (which is very NOT helpful)
