I was recently levelled up from 7 to 8 (yay) but I see I had yet to cover all the L7 vocab. I counted, 31 New L7 Vocab and 3 unlocked L7 vocab.
What happens to all the previous level’s vocab? Will WK eventually introduce them to me or am I to use Advanced Lessons to cover them?
You level up when you guru 90% of a level’s kanji - it’s not reliant on the vocab. You also unlock vocab when you guru all of the kanji used in that vocab, so it sounds like you didn’t quite guru all of the level 7 kanji when you levelled up. It’s fine, the vocab will be unlocked when it gets unlocked.
Thanks for the reply @Belthazar . I understand when I level up, I’m just not sure if the outstanding vocab gets covered in subsequent lessons delivered automatically by WK.
Now that I’ve begun Level 8, I see WK is revealing Level 7 vocab. So, at this early stage, I guess WK will eventually reveal it all to me.
You can always click on “Advanced” button on the “Todays Lessons” area. It takes you to lesson picker, where you can choose specific lessons if you want, but you also see all the items that are unlocked and not learned yet.
If you’re doing the lessons WK automatically gives you, then it’ll clear the level 7 vocab before it starts giving you level 8 vocab. It prioritises lower level vocab lessons over current level vocab lessons
