Sorry if this is silly and i’m not paitent enough but I’ve been on lv. 7 for a while now and at some point I stopped getting new words, I struggle with mixing up a few of them so their levels are pretty low but does it truely not give me any more vocab until i’ve 100% completed each Kanji for that level? I never experienced this before and infact i’ve carried over a few others from past levels and i’m afraid it’s glitched by not giving me that last kanji to move on?
You only get new vocabulary as you unlock kanji, so the reason must be that you’ve finished all the vocabulary with the kanji you have. You won’t get more until you Guru more kanji; it’s not related to your level.
You’ve got 4 kanji in progress for this level. Each one of those, when you guru it, will unlock its vocabulary. Guru-ing it means getting it right at each of the steps you can see below them.
You also only need to pass one more to level up, at which point you’ll get the radicals, kanji, and vocab for the next level. You can see it says you need to pass 33 kanji to level up, and you have 36 in this level, so it’s not 100% of them.
I just finished level 7 myself, and it also felt slow to me compared to earlier levels since so many kanji were blocked up by radicals from the same level. I think I was at 31/33 at the same time that I unlocked the rest of the kanji for the level, so the last few days in particular were pretty slow while I waded through the kanji apprentices with 0 available lessons.
If it helps, the pacing for level 8 feels much better so far. You’ll also be able to tackle more of the radicals/kanji right away, since you’ve already cleared most of the vocab for level 7.
ooooh thank you so much! I didn’t really know how it all worked.
Thank you!!
Thats good to know, glad i’m not the only one. Thanks for your input!
