Level up + Wanikani graphics are awesome

Wow.
It is awesome to see a 60th level history.

We have a similar pattern (a few levels took one month due to travel), and it feels good to know you still made it.

Good job!

The levels become shorter after level 44ish ?

That is such a motivation to keep pushing for a few more levels until it gets easier for me.

They do, and, as I understand it, here’s why:

The kanji you learn on a level are divided into two groups: the kanji you learn immediately (let’s call them first half kanji) and the kanji you learn once you guru that level’s radicals (let’s call them second half kanji).
To get to the next level, you need to guru a certain percentage of the level’s kanji. For most levels, that number is higher than the number of first half kanji, so you have to wait till you guru some second half kanji.
However, after level 44ish most of the kanji are the first half kanji, so you level up right when you guru the first half kanji.

Sorry, I’m just a small clumsy cat, but I hope this makes sense trunky_rolling

To be honest, it could not have been more clear.

I got it.

Looking forward for my 40s

Thank you

Update from the other side: There’s a lot of overtime. A lot of overtime. (At least it’s paid overtime)

And some stress. Less stress than I expected though, so that’s nice.

But Japanese, uh, yeah, guess that goes on maintenance mode for a little bit. I’m definitely not giving up this time though. You’ll see me in my study log.

Good to know and good to hear that it’s less stress than expected haha but I’m not sure how much you were expecting…

I’ll be keeping an eye out on those study log updates, good luck!
