as a beginner i know the intimidating feeling of not being able to have actual conversations in japanese. whenever i see a talk-in-japanese-thread, ppl are already pretty advanced. feels discouraging to start a talk with only being able to say “hello everyone, my name is naru!”
let’s train what we learned!
doesn’t matter how low our skill is! even if you only want to practice your duolingo sentences, some anime words you learn etc. THAT’S COOL
let’s help each other!
if you have questions, ask right away! we all do mistakes, let’s not feel bad about it and try to improve.
let’s talk 日本語!
we can try to have small conversations, or you can share your new learned words with everybody. whatever comes in your mind.
me as a beginner want to encourage beginners, but everyone is welcome to join!
Edits:
One アニメ was in hiragana for some reason.
たのしかったね changed to たのしかっただね. Felt wrong without the だ but could be fine not sure. Update! Corrected by Kazzeon. だ is wrong. Check his post for reasoning.
Removed これは from start of 6th line as stating the topic seemed unnecessary.
Actually, it’s wrong with the だ. Should be 楽しかったね.
楽しいです is fine, 楽しかったです is fine, since the polite form of an い-adjective is followed by です.
But, in 楽しかっただ you’re using the plain form of 楽しい, since you’re trying to use だ, but the plain form of an い-adjective is not followed by です.
A quick example is:
Since at first I just knew it felt wrong, I used these sources to figure out why.
This is probably because you just selected the first kanji you saw, but 暑い is for hot weather, and 熱い is for hot things. You’ll learn it soon on WaniKani.
