@TheWholeShoe and @Pep95: I read through the comments. In addition to the usual “did you turn off all your scripts” (which it seems people tried), have you tried disabling the extension that loads up the scripts? I’m guessing that it is, indeed, a memory leak somewhere in our pile of Javascript (probably timer based), but I want to make sure we’ve eliminated the obvious stuff first.
I personally have not tried that yet, when I encounter this again I will give it a go and see if it makes a difference, and then report the findings here. Could take a while though.
Damn… I’ve been getting hit with some really bad lag lately, so I followed @oldbonsai’s suggestion and turned off scripts and did about 40 reviews. seems to have fixed the issue for now.
I’ll turn them on one by one over my next few reviews and see if anything causes the issues.
For reference, here’s what I’m using:
Chrome Version 75.0.3770.80
Tampermonkey 4.8.41
Wanikani Overide (1.2)
Wanikani Reorder Ultimate 2 (2.2.4)
Wanikani Open Framework (1.0.45)
Wanikani Ultimate Timeline (7.0.22)
