Kumirei's Userscripts

It took a hard reset of firefox. IDK what was going on. Thanks for the attention

Hey @Kumirei  Just wanted to let you know that the “Skip to quiz” script doesn’t seem to be working alongside Wanikani Reorder Ultimate 2. If I disable the reorder script, skip to quiz also works fine.

Will look into it!

Should be working now!

Thanks, works fine now :+1: :sunglasses:

Autoplay is only working for whichever voice is set to default.
(Seems to be fine in compatibility mode)

Will look into it when I get the time!

Autoplay inconsistency may actually just be a remaining issue with Double Check after the WK update. I’d assumed it was related to the RVA script since the problem initially appeared to be limited to the alternate voice.

This is probably of very low priority and hard to troubleshoot unless you’re a fellow macOS user, but using TamperMonkey on Safari 15.2, all the WaniKani dashboard and review based user scripts load just fine, but none of the forum ones do anything. I wonder if it’s an effect of Discourse’s specific Safari related code or something.

For what it’s worth, TamperMonkey shows that scripts are loaded.

Get nothing in the frame though even with Like and Regular trackers installed and none of the buttons for the quotes or mentions in the post frames.

That is very strange. I will probably ask for your help trying to troubleshoot, as I don’t have a Mac. Actually, I have a 2012 MacBook Air, but I run Linux on it since it’s 10 years old.

However, I do recommend that you use IME2Furigana instead of my furigana script. It’s much better and incorporates the same features as mine.

More than happy to help. As usual @BIsTheAnswer has some thoughts, hehe

Sooooo many things work across all modern browsers … except for Safari. It pains me that Safari has become the Internet Explorer of the new millenium.

For me, Yomichan alone was enough for me to switch to Chrome on my macs.

I know, I know. Safari these days is faster though, and in a cyber security adjacent role, I generally prefer the unified ecosystem with the new tracking protection Apple have built in. Also, it just makes things seamless across my iPad and iPhone where using the Chrome app feels dirty.

Safari extensions aren’t anywhere near Chrome levels of course, but at least they’re getting better. Safarikai isn’t anywhere near as customisable as Yomichan or rikaikun, but it does the job.

I have updated the Like counter and Regular Tracker. Please tell me if they work. I also updated Bottled Wanimekani and the Heatmap, in case you have had trouble with those.

I don’t know why the others are not working. It could be an issue with the Wait For Selector script that they all use, but I don’t see what could be wrong with it. Did you check the console for errors?

I see that IME2Furigana also uses lookahead regex.

Looks like there’s a refusal to execute in the console, stating:

I can see a SO post about it, but that was back with Safari 11 and we’re on 15 now, so who knows…

There’s a recent comment on there about ascii_only output mode, but that’s out of my area of knowledge at this point, sorry :grimacing:

Heatmap is working perfectly for me, forgot to add, was before you updated through too. No issues with any scripts on the main WK dash, in fact, just Discourse related ones.

I wonder if it might be related to the whitespace characters that I originally used to align the values in the regular tracker. I have no idea how the CSP stuff works, so I don’t really know how to approach this either.

Maybe just try deleting the tooltip and see if that makes the Regular Tracker work? That would be lines 195 to 213

The Like Counter isn’t rendering any strange characters, though, so I don’t know what that could be. Maybe the Regular Tracker is just causing the others to not execute?

Hey @Kumirei 先輩, just wanted to let you know your “Wanikani: Lessons & Reviews in header” script removes the new Extra Study from the dashboard completely.
