So I use my android phone to do my reviews. I’m not sure what the keyboard is called maybe Gboard. Generally it’s been ok but today a great big world or earth symbol has replaced the two lines for changing a か、to a が、
any ideas?
This key should change to the 大小 key as soon as you type a kana (since it doesn’t make sense to use it without input).
The globe key lets you change/toggle keyboard, which I personally find useful, but if you don’t like it, you should be able to disable it:

Go in the config (by tapping that cogwheel at the top)

Go to 設定 (settings in English I presume, it’s the 2nd option in the menu for be below the language selection)
- Make sure the 言語切り替えキー option is turned off:
Huh. On my iPhone, the globe key is beneath the keyboard. The dakuten/small kana button is a kaomoji button instead. Lets me type stuff like ε=ε=ε=ε=┌(;￣▽￣)┘ with one button… and a bunch of scrolling through the options.
