Goo actually lists the usage as a な adjective separately:
［形動］［文］［ナリ］一風変わって、おもしろいさま。また、気のきいているさま。しゃれているさま。おつ。「縁 (えん) は異 (い) なもの―なもの」「―な趣向」
So it’s safe to assume that the usage as a noun and as a な-adjective have different meanings. Funnily enough, as far as I understand what that page says, none of the meanings for the noun match the meaning as an adjective.

Hmm, I only used different nouns in the sentences, but it’s also possible to use the positive and negative versions of a verb (Whether you pass the exam or not… etc)
I neither touched on i and na-adjectives, or the pattern where にしろ is used only once.

However, it is on a sentence of its own. When in the beginning of a larger sentence, which doesn’t have a topic, then 今日は will be assumed to be the topic きょうは, “as I today”.

A while ago, I ran into 草 used instead of 笑. I didn’t know what it meant, so I looked it up. Apart from 笑 you can also “ww,” right? The “ww” looks like a grassy field. That’s why 草 is also used online.

ええ、「極主夫道」は一番面白くて楽しいマンガの一つであると思います。一年くらい前に英語で読んでみました。以前の本のクラブはどんなクラブだったんですか。マンガか小説か、どんな読み物を読むことになりましたか。
実際、毎週の童話を読みながら、ノートをたくさん書いたり、単語表を書き込んだりしておきます。少し大変なのです。そして、小川先生の童話は子供向けのくせに本当に読みにくいのです。
Yes, The Way of the Househusband is one of the most fun and interesting manga, I think. I tried reading it roughly a year ago in English. What was the previous book club? Manga or novels, which kind of reading stuff did you get to read?
Actually, when reading the weekly fairy tales, I do a lot of notes and fill out the vocabulary sheet. It’s a bit of hard work. Also, even though Ogawa’s fairy tales are for children, they’re hard to read.
I think I’m starting to get a hang of くせに. Looks like it’s better to not overthink it and use it in a very minimal context. In anime I heard it used at the end of sentence 2, similar to のに so that the subject doesn’t change. A bit of a gimmick ;).

You mean 見られる? Or 見える? I think you might be onto something if it’s the latter, because I had this weird inkling that the 見ることが出来る there wasn’t exactly natural. In stories I see a lot of 聞こえる at work, but not so much 見える. Would probably need to get more exposure to that as well.

One can often see both 草 and 笑 in VTuber streams, right? There is ww in the video subtitles and viewers write 草 in the chat. Sometimes 草 is written in green.
