A collection of magical tales based upon the actual dreams of director Akira Kurosawa.

Personal Opinion

Y’all ever heard of Akira Kurosawa? Probably Japan’s most famous director, best known for his many samurai films, this one is instead something entirely different! It should theoretically be nicer listening practice for learners since it was made in 1990 and isn’t full of samurai-speak, heh. The idea of a collection of dreams as a movie appeals a lot to me for that magical sort of vibe, and in the images I’ve seen from this movie, it really feels like he captures that. They all have such vivid, beautiful colors. I’m really hoping to check it out :slightly_smiling_face:
