Japanese Film Festival Online 2024: (now over)

June 5 noon to 19 noon, 2024 (JST): 23 films
June 19 noon to July 3 noon, 2024 (JST): 2 TV drama series

Welcome film lovers/Japanese language students! It’s summer and the sun is shining, so that means only one thing: Close those blinds, cancel those plans, and watch 23 movies over a period of two weeks!

Note that the films will only be showing for two weeks, and after that will be dramas.
Also note that some films may only be available in certain regions. I’m sure some creative people may be able to find solutions for that, though…

Well, I haven’t watched any yet.

But I read 線は僕を描く and マイブロークンマリコ a while ago.

Really liked the first one and liked the second one. :slight_smile:

didn’t realize that baby assassins and twenty-four eyes were even options
a couple might have to see if i can get by vpn though

might be able to make the vpn work but then probably can’t cast to the TV with the vpn

you can test it for free (somewhere on the website)
now that I did a couple of weeks ago, don’t remember how
but there was a way to sign up for the shift72 thing for free and a test video to make sure it worked.

Thanks! It worked without an issue and without any particular setup, I find it a bit suspicious though as Denmark is not listed in the countries that can watch…

Looks like it’s June 5th JST, which is already in 4 hours? Maybe I’ll get to test tonight then with a real movie
