Denkiya kara itoko no ie made sanjuupun kakarimasu.
It makes my eyes bleed for one thing but it’s a trivial sentence, not sure what part would be considered above N5. You certainly don’t need to be at N3 level to understand this.
Not sure why it makes your eyes bleed but I didn’t think n5 sentences are that long, they get longer at n4, n5 is more like there is a cat.
The roumaji.
You may well be right. It’s true that N5 is really elementary.
The n5 sentences can get pretty long. It’s not about how short they are, it’s about the grammar used in the sentence and the vocab. It seems pretty N5 (to me at least).
The grammar is N4 max. Jisho says “itoko” is N3, but otherwise I’d say the sentence is probably around N5/N4.
30分 should be sanjuppun.
N5 does have shorter sentences, (at least generally) often when they’re longer it’s actually n4 cause things like stories for example are kind of hard to write with much n5.
Don’t say it like that…
Что ли? Ро:мадзи?

roumaji
This makes my eyes bleed. What’s that U doing in there?
But on a more serious note, though, OP, simias does have a point in that you need hiragana for N5.
I refuse to drop long vowels when transcribing, it seems like a bad thing to do on a Japanese-learning forum. I could write rōmaji I suppose.
You could write “ro-maji”. It’s how you write it normally, after all.

We could all go back to writing it 羅馬字…
I understand hiragana I just take longer typing it like that

Yes, we should write 羅馬字 in kanji, kana in ローマジ, and かんじ in 仮名.

Practice makes perfect.
You’re going to have to drop it eventually, might as well get used to it now

If you use a latin to kana input (which is the standard on computers, and exists also on smartphones) it takes exactly the same time as you press exactly the same keys.
Edit: actually you type a bit less keys, as you don’t need to type the spaces.
(I prefer handwriting however)

How about roomaji?
I might write ro-mazi sometimes, if not with 12-key.
(Honestly, I think romaji is ok. It’s not for IME, but for English speaking forum.)
