Is there any difference between 勉強する And 勉強をする？

Is there any difference between this two words? And in general any other compound verb that uses する？

For example:
掃除するのが好きですか

And

掃除をするのが好きですか

What’s the difference？

To add to that. There’s effectively no difference, but the grammar you use before it can impact the decision.

For instance, if you say へやのそうじ, you have to put a を before する
