I tried signing up for the JCAT online exam last week because I won’t be able to travel to take the N5 exam this year. I also just finished Genki 1 and after studying for maybe 8 months or so I’d like to see where I am. However, I didn’t really know what to do with some of the sign up questions for the individual exam. It asked me to put in my school as well as my department. I only went to high school and there was no department so I just put language. I never heard back from the site so I’m wondering if there is a special method to sign up for this exam or if there’s just something I don’t know.

Check spam folder? Their emails get flagged as spam for me half the time.
