I’m currently on level 15. If I look back at the level 14 vocab, it shows in the top right I’ve unlocked all 124/124 vocab lessons.
However, there are still somewhere around 30 or 40 vocab with the red, “new” icon next to them that I have not done the lesson for yet.
Is there some way I can see or some script I can use to show how many of those red, “new” vocab are still left on a level instead of just how many have been unlocked. I honestly don’t care how many are unlocked, I just want to know how many I have left to do before I’m done with this level without having to scroll through and count them up myself.
It tells you a bunch of statistics on the front page that are kind of interesting, but on the items/wanikani page I pretty much see exactly what you’re asking. You can play with it to get a view you like with different groupings and colorings, etc.
The ‘Lesson’ section is unlocked, but not done yet. (you can show locked ones in a different color, break it down by level, etc. but this is the way I like it)
What you can’t see in the screen shot is if you hover over the item, it gives the meaning, reading, level, and when your next review will be in a pop-up, and it’s click-able to go to the wanikani page for that item.
Thanks, this isn’t totally perfect because it doesn’t count ones you haven’t unlocked yet too, but once I get them all unlocked, this is a quick and easy way to check so this has become my usual method. I appreciate the idea.
