Hi everyone
I’m trying to read a manga but not really getting anywhere. So I thought to to check whether I got the translation right I’d like to watch an episode of anime when I’d reached that point in the manga. Problem is, I know that a volume of manga usually has more content than an episode of anime, but I have no idea just how much.
Can you help me with that?
Why don’t you read a translated version of the manga ?
(for naruto, 1 ep was 2/3 manga chapters if I remember, but it might be a bad reference as the show was really slow)
I’m sure that could help, yes. However, I want to read it in japanese, I already have the manga and I have no idea where I would get that exact manga. It’s not in the school library as far as I know and the nearest big library is half an hour away by train. Plus, I don’t have a lot of free time and since I could only get it for a month at a library that could prove a problem.
Thanks anyway
Aye, it strongly depends on the manga. Girl’s Last Tour averaged about two to three episodes of anime per volume of manga, while Aria gets something closer to five episodes per volume (though to be fair, Aria is much less closely based on the manga).
I don’t know if that will help, but thanks anyway.
If you want to share the manga, someone might have read and watched it and could help you exactly
What manga are you reading?
does this count as leebo’ing someone?
…Yes
Right, I’m reading Death Note. Sorry I didn’t mention it before.
Uh, what does that even mean?
Death Note’s wikia may have something in the episodes pages saying something like “Episode 12 = chapter X to Y.” Most anime (especially the more popular ones) will have an easy way to see that info on fan pages and such.
People started using my name for “when you’re typing and someone answers before you could post.”
Thanks, I’ll try that.
Oh, ok, I see. But why is that?
Because Leebo knows everything, and is very good at posting first.
good luck, i hear its so rare to happen that you automatically ascend to durtle heaven if you happen to do it in your lifetime
Ok? I don’t get it.
Except one does descend to durtle heaven. You obviously aren’t a true believer.
