Actually on topic, some of the easiest to get are Regular (just be here a bunch, it’s a standard Discourse thing) and the Alan Durtshowitz thing, for which you need to read and comment on the ToS in the appropriate thread. I also got Introdurtle for making an introduction thread, but it might be too late for that.

I recently had them explained to me in the POLL thread, because I didn’t know what they were and asked.

Although tbf, I didn’t ask about sect names directly, just the non-badge titles people had.

It’s kind of a joke / not a joke / like don’t talk about fight club. It keeps the community fun. If I recall correctly, the actually original meaning behind the rule was don’t ask for a sect title. Most of us actually have interesting origin stories for our sect titles and like talking about it.

New Durtles have been scarce of late. Usually, though, things get durtler around the holidays.
