Hiragana Calligraphy Basics

Just found this when I was cleaning up and thought it might be useful.
This is the summary sheet of how to write Hiragana from a preschooler course.

The course is called Enpitsu land and I agree with several peoples opinion that it is quite good in teaching a neat handwriting (and also reading and calculating but that’s not the point here).
Personally I find it difficult to get the balance of Hiragana characters right,
I hope this can be helpful to others as well.

If there is a copyright problem I will delete it asap.

I love this! and I love the authentic preschooler scribbles on it so much

I wonder why they’re arranged like that instead of 五十音. And why is it called 魔法の言葉?

I could add a long list of questions starting with “why” about the whole kindergarten experience.
Unfortunately nobody was able or willing to give me answers so far. :joy:

It’s actually pretty cool how they describe things like ペンギンくんのおなか

Because that’s how it’s always been done, obviously.

These are cool, I have tidied them up to remove the scribbles in case someone wants a clean version
